Advancis® Cholesterim Ultra is a food supplement in capsules with a complete and balanced formula to control cholesterol levels. This product contains Plant Sterols, Monacolin K, 2 plants extracts and B-Complex Vitamins.
Plant Sterols
Plant sterols are substances structurally similar to cholesterol that bind to cholesterol transporters and are absorbed in their place, thus blocking partially intestinal cholesterol absorption. Its regular consumption is associated with a reduction in total and LDL cholesterol levels.
Monacolin K
Monacolin K is present in Red Yeast Rice extract. This substance possesses a marked and scientifically proven hypocholesterolaemic activity. Monacolin K is chemically identical to the active ingredient present in the cholesterol-lowering drug lovastatin.
Zingiber officinale, Ginger
In addition to its antioxidant action and several health benefits, there is evidence that Ginger has cholesterol-lowering properties.
Arctium lappa, Burdock
Burdock contains effective pharmacological compounds such as chlorogenic acid, which is known to reduce triglyceride and cholesterol levels.
