Indications: breast pain, engorgement, plugged ducts, sore nipples, mastitis.

Heat Treatment Microwave:
From room temperature: Evenly distribute the gel beads within the pack.
Place the gel pack into the microwave for approximately 10 seconds on high power.
Remove using a towel or oven glove. Allow pack to settle for 10 seconds and carefully test the temperature.
If the pack is too hot, let it sit for another minute before retesting. If the pack is not hot enough, heat in 10 second intervals until desired temperature is reached.
Always flip the pack over between heating intervals.
Carefully insert the gel pack into the provided cloth/sleeve and apply to breast area.

From frozen: Place the gel pack into the microwave for approximately 20 seconds on high power. Remove using a towel or oven glove and manipulate the pack to distribute the heat.
Re-flatten the pack and place in the microwave for an additional 15 seconds on high power.
After this time, check that the correct temperature has been reached. If not, further heating should be in 10 second bursts. It is recommended that the gel pack is inserted into the cloth/sleeve before applying to the skin.

Hot Water: Bring water to boil. Remove from heat and immerse the gel pack for approximately 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, see if the correct temperature has been reached. Carefully insert the gel pack into the provided cloth/sleeve and apply to breast area.
Ideal to use for: Thermotherapy (heat therapy) is effective for relieving plugged ducts and mastitis and encourages milk let-down.

Cold Treatment: Store in the freezer so that the pack is ready to use in case of an injury. Approximately 2 hours is required to freeze the gel.
The pack will stay flexible even when frozen. It is recommended that the gel pack is always placed inside the provided cloth/sleeve before applying to the skin.
Ideal to use for: Cryotherapy (cold therapy) is effective for relieving swelling, inflammation, and engorgement.
