SOLEPHARMA VITOFER FERROUS 30CAPSULES

Vitofer ferrous is a vitamin and mineral complex for pregnant women that combines the most necessary and important ingredients that are needed in order to ensure healthy pregnancy.

Product consists of a high dosage of ferrous salts that are very important for pregnant women to prevent maternal anaemia, puerperal sepsis, low birth weight, and preterm birth. Ferrous salts also contribute to normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and normal oxygen transport in the body.

Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction. Zinc, iron and vitamin B12 have a role in the process of cell division. Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Vitamin C increases iron absorption.

Product is provided for women of child-bearing age.
