This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated area of application because it has been used for many years. Tussimont Cough is used in adults and adolescents as well as children from 2 years of age.

Contraindications:
Tussimont Hustensaft must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to thyme or senega root or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Interactions:
Interactions have not been observed so far.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.In the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and breast-feeding cannot be recommended.

The active ingredients in 100 g are: 10.0 g thyme liquid extract (DEV 1:5-7); Extraction agent ethanol 96% (V/V): water: glycerol 85% (1:1.3:1) and 3.0 g Senega liquid extract (DEV 1:1.3-1.5); Extraction agent ethanol 34.6% (v/v)

The other ingredients are: Liquid extract of bitter orange peel, sucrose, purified water, ethanol 96% (v/v), glycerol 85%, plain caramel, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate.

For oral use. Tussimont Hustensaft is taken undiluted.
A graduated measuring cup is included for dosing.

Adults take 10 ml 3-4 times daily.
