Chela-Ferr® Easy is a food for special medical purposes with a high content of assimilable iron, in two very-well tolerated forms (ferric pyrophosphate and Ferrochel® ferric amino acid chelate), with a raspberry flavour.

The preparation has been enriched with vitamin C, which increases the assimilation of iron (Int J Vitam Nutr Res. 2004 Jul;74(4)294-300). The product is intended for use in situations in which the body has a high demand for iron.

Chela-Ferr® Easy is intended for dietary management with medical recommendations concerning use in states of:

disorder of absorption or reduced absorption of iron (which can occur, among others, in celiac disease and chronic pancreatitis),
iron-deficiency anaemia,
iron deficiency in pregnant women, caused by abundant menstrual bleeding, blood donation, loss of blood due to surgery, chemotherapy, and insufficient nutrition (including the use of unbalanced vegetarian, slimming, or macrobiotic diets),
chronic coughing associated with iron-deficiency conditions (Int J Clin Pract. 2012 Nov; 66(11)1095-100),
cough associated with the use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (e.g. captopril, enalapril, lysonopril) (Hypertension. 2001 Aug; 38(2)166-70),
attention-deficit-hyperactivity syndrome (ADHD) (Pediatr Neurol. 2008 Jan; 38(1)20-6),
The preparation can also be used to prevent iron deficiency (e.g. pregnancy, heavy menstrual bleeding, blood donation, chemotherapy and perioperative period).

Chela-Ferr® Easy can be used as a supplement to the patient’s diet (source of iron) in adolescents and adults, in a portion of 1 sachet per day.

In the case of children over 3 years of age and in all cases of dietary management, portions are determined by a doctor. Chela-Ferr® Easy should be taken after a meal by pouring the contents of one sachet directly onto the tongue. The powder can also be dissolved in a small amount of juice or water.

Precautions and contraindications The use of certain medications, including allopurinol, hypersensitivity to any of the product’s ingredients. Do not exceed the portion of the preparation suggested for consumption or determined by a doctor. For children use with caution.
