Lamberts Acidophilus Extra 4 x 30 Capsules

Lamberts gastrointestinal system contains billions of bacteria, most of which are harmless.
Maintaining the health of the gastrointestinal system requires a balance between pathogenic bacteria and friendly bacteria in the intestinal flora.

Lamberts Acidophilus Extra 4 is a dairy-free formula that contains 4 billion friendly bacteria per capsule (at the time of manufacture). Although Acidophilus is stable at room temperature, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator to ensure maximum potency. The special packaging of Acidophilus protects it from moisture, which is known to affect the viability of bacteria.
The bacteria in Acidophilus Extra 4 are dried at high temperatures and surrounded by an acid-resistant polysaccharide coating, protecting them from the acidic pH of the stomach.

Recommended for:

People taking antibiotics
Travelers on long distances (Traveler's diarrhea)
The elderly
People following a sugar/yeast-free diet.*at the time of manufacture.

Absorption time: Less than 30 minutes.

Each capsule provides:

Contains 4 billion friendly bacteria per capsule
Lactobacillus acidophilus La5 and Bifidobacterium Bb12 -> 4 x 10^9 (4 billion) live bacteria*

Excipients: Dextrose, Capsule Shell (Hypromellose, Colour: Titanium Dioxide), Magnesium Stearate.

The combined weight of dextrose and sucrose is less than 1/50th of a teaspoon (less than ½ calorie)

Take 2 capsules daily.
Take with a glass of water, ideally first thing in the morning when the pH of the stomach is at its highest (i.e. not so acidic).
Do not swallow capsules with hot drinks, heat kills bacteria.
