Kessler's Gelactif Cold Sore medical device is a sterile, discreet, adhesive patch for the protection and faster healing of cold sore rashes. It acts as a two-way protective cover that protects the affected area from contamination while at the same time limiting spread. At the same time, it creates an optimal microenvironment in the affected area, promoting the body's natural recovery mechanism and accelerating healing. It is comfortable to use, allows the skin to breathe, and is compatible with top-coat cosmetics such as lipstick or makeup.

It can be used for cold sores, but also for ruptured acne pimples and micro-wounds that produce secretions.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before application. The patch should be applied to clean, dry skin.
2. Open the paper pouch containing the patch by peeling it off the side. The patch is attached to a release film that has been cut in half so that it can be removed in 2 steps.
3. Carefully peel off half of the release film that the patch is attached to. Holding it by the remaining release film, carefully stick the half of the patch over the rash, avoiding touching the adhesive
area of the patch with your fingers.
4. Using both hands,hold the half of the patch that you have already stuck to the rash firmly in place with one hand and carefully remove the remaining release film with the other. Press the patch lightly with your finger to ensure that it sticks well. Once the patch is fixed, you can apply makeup or lipstick on and around it.
5. As long as the patch remains stuck in place, there is no need to remove or change it unless its color changes from transparent to milky white. In this case, replace it with a new one. If the patch comes off on its own, replace it with a new one.

Removing the patch:
To remove the patch, peel off one edge a little and remove it carefully at an acute angle so that the skin does not lift up. It is recommended to moisten the skin before removing the patch.
