Hask Macadamia Oil collection features a range of products packed with rich essential fatty acids and powerful antioxidants derived from the miraculously moisturizing macadamia nut.
Treasured as a beauty aid in Australia for decades, macadamia oil mimics our scalps’ natural oils to hydrate dried locks. Its abundant nutrients and high level of antioxidants keep hair soft, supple and shiny.
Macadamia oil is rich in potent antioxidants such as mono-unsaturated fatty acids, flavonoids and tocopherol. It is also rich in palmitoleic and oleic acids, which offer cells anti-oxidation properties.
Due to its low molecular weight, macadamia oil is able to penetrate the hair shaft by capillary action which aids in repairing and restoring the damage caused by chemical processes including bleaching, relaxing and perming.
It re-deposits essential fatty acids necessary for the strength and vitality of human hair, in addition to preventing damage to the outer cuticle layer during daily hair styling by lubricating the hair.
