Every person needs different amounts of sleep. However, as a general rule, most people need at least seven to eight hours of sleep per night. Melatonin helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep.

Melatonin is colloquially known as the "sleep hormone." It is formed in the pineal gland from the happiness hormone serotonin. Melatonin has a major influence on many bodily functions, including sleep. Melatonin helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep. For the positive effect to occur, 1 mg of melatonin should be taken shortly before bedtime.

Vitamin B6 supports the normal functioning of the nervous system and contributes to normal mental function and regulation of hormonal activity.

The dietary supplement Doppelherz aktiv Melatonin Gums contains a combination of 1 mg melatonin, 1.4 mg vitamin B6 and 20 mg chamomile flower extract. The vegan gums have a delicious raspberry flavor and are sugar-free.

For the positive effect to take effect, 1 mg of melatonin should be ingested shortly before bedtime.
