Lamberts Artichoke 8250mg x 180 Tablets

Lamberts Artichoke 8250 mg is a dietary supplement with high strength artichoke extract, titrated in cynarin. Artichoke is a vegetable rich in fiber, B vitamins, vitamin C and magnesium.

It belongs to the Asteraceae family of plants, which also includes Milk Thistle. Historical reports on the traditional use of the herb, concern the improvement of the digestion of fatty meals.

The active ingredients of artichoke are in the leaves of the plant, the most important being cynarin. Cynarin is hepatoprotective and helps in the elimination of alcohol from the body and in cases of gallstones *

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of artichoke as a traditional herbal remedy to relieve digestive disorders such as mild indigestion, fullness, bloating and flatulence.

It is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to the strict standards of the Pharmaceutical GMP.

Artichoke as 330 mg of a 25:1 extract 8250 mg
providing Cynarin 16 mg

Artichoke leaf extract (Cynara scolymus), DiCalcium phosphate, Cellulose, Tablet coating (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Colours: Spirulina, apple, safflower & lemon, Hydroxypropyl cellulose, stearic acid), silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.

2 tablets daily (maximum dose: 6 tablets daily) to be taken with a meal.

Maintenance dose: 1-2 tablets daily to be taken with a meal.

It is recommended to take it for at least 8 weeks.

Artichoke extract can be taken 2 tablets before eating a fatty meal, to enhance digestion.

Assimilation time: Less than 1 hour.

Do not take in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Not to be taken during pregnancy and lactation.

To be avoided by people with cholelithiasis and cholecystitis.

To be used with caution in cases of severe liver disease and diabetes, as it may cause hypoglycemia.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light.

Keep out of reach of children.

It does not contain wheat, barley, soy, eggs, milk (and dairy products), lactose, nuts, sulfites, celery, fish, shellfish, yeast, gluten.

Keep the product in a dry, cool place up to 25°C (77°F), and protect it from light. Inappropriate storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity, and freezing conditions, may result in alterations to the product.
