IgActive Respiraid dietary supplement to strengthen the immune system.
Suitable for the prevention of the respiratory system and for the protection of mucous membranes.

Quercetin and vitamin C: Quercetin exhibits a broad spectrum of antiviral properties, which can interfere with multiple stages of pathogenicity - viral entry, viral replication, protein assembly - and these therapeutic effects can be increased by co-administration of vitamin C.
Furthermore, due to the lack of serious adverse effects, the combined administration of these components is recommended for both prophylaxis and early treatment of respiratory tract infections, particularly including patients with COVID-19.

Zinc: The numerical data from the literature strongly suggest benefits of zinc supplementation. Zinc supplementation improves mucosal clearance, enhances epithelial integrity, reduces viral replication, maintains antiviral immunity, reduces the risk of hyperinflammation, provides antioxidant effects, and thus reduces lung damage and minimizes secondary infections. In particular, older individuals, patients with chronic diseases, and most other risk groups for COVID-19 are likely to benefit.
Vitamin D: Vitamin D supplementation during or shortly before COVID-19 by frail older adults was associated with less severe illness and better survival rate.
