The natural composition of Bromeact ensures a strong anti-inflammatory effect, while reducing the swelling caused by inflammation.
Bromelain:
It increases the production of prostaglandins with anti-inflammatory effects.
Inhibits the conversion of kininogen to kinin.
Stimulates PGE 1 (selective inhibition of platelet aggregation and blood clotting).
It develops fibrinolytic activity, in interaction with lipoxygenase, through plasminogen (increases the generation of plasmin), which breaks down fibrin clots (fibrinolysis), thus preventing the formation of local edema.
Boswellic Acid (pentacyclic triterpene):
It selectively inhibits 5-lipoxygenase, preventing the synthesis of leukotriene B4 (chronic inflammation phase receptor) as well as leukotrienes C4, D4, E4 (acute inflammation phase receptors).
It does not inhibit the synthesis of gastroprotective prostaglandins, as occurs with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It inhibits the translocation of polymorphonuclei and the release of proteolytic enzymes.
Coumarin:
It has an effect on the lymphatic system thanks to its ability to increase the proteolytic activity of macrophages.
It reduces the catabolism of catecholamines (adrenaline) at the vascular level and therefore contributes to improving the ability of blood vessels to contract and reducing edema and pain.
