Prepare your finger
Make sure your hands are clean, warm, and dry. Remove nail polish or artificial nails if possible, as they can affect accuracy.

Turn on the device
Press the power button (most devices turn on automatically when you open or insert your finger).

Insert your finger
Place your finger (usually index or middle finger) fully inside the clip, with the nail facing upward (towards the screen).

Keep still
Keep your hand relaxed and still. Avoid movement during measurement.

Wait for the reading
After a few seconds, the screen will display:
SpO₂ (%) – oxygen saturation
PR (bpm) – pulse rate

Read the results:
Normal SpO₂: 95–100%
Pulse varies (usually 60–100 bpm in adults)

Turn off the device
Remove your finger; most devices turn off automatically.
