The ingredients in this deep cleansing gel start with water (aqua) as the base, followed by naturally derived alcohol denat., coconut‑derived coco‑glucoside and disodium cocoyl glutamate which act as gentle cleansing agents, and glycerin to help keep skin hydrated.
The formula also contains xanthan gum for texture, organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice for refreshing hydration, and hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water to soothe and invigorate the skin, while citric acid and carrageenan help balance pH and texture.
Sea salt (maris sal) and lecithin support the integrity of the product, tocopherol (vitamin E) and ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C derivative) contribute antioxidant qualities, and glyceryl oleate and hydrogenated palm glycerides citrate help condition the skin.
A blend of natural fragrance (parfum) and aromatic components like limonene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, and citral from essential oils provide the gel’s refreshing citrus aroma.

To use Weleda Deep Cleansing Gel, wet your face and neck with warm water and apply a small amount of gel, then gently massage it into the skin in circular motions, taking care to avoid the delicate eye area.

Once you have worked the gel over your skin, rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently pat dry with a soft towel, then follow with your usual toner and moisturiser if you use them.
