Solgar Alpha Lipoic Acid 200mg x 50 Capsules - Antioxidant Support

The food supplement  Solgar Alfa Lipoic Acid  contains   alpha lipoic acid (alpha lipoic acid)  is a powerful sulphide antioxidant, which maximizes the action of also antioxidant vitamins C and E, and glutathione, protects carotenoids, detoxifies the body from heavy metals , and participates in other important protective enzymatic processes of cellular metabolism.

A very important property of alpha lipoic acid is to improve the utilization of glucose by the body and for this reason it can be beneficial for people with diabetes or high blood sugar levels. It is recommended to take a multivitamin at the same time for better assimilation of this particular antioxidant.

1-2 capsules daily to be taken preferably between meals.

Contraindications:

It should be taken with caution by people with diabetes mellitus. In addition, it should not be taken by people who have low Vitamin B1 in the body (eg alcoholics). It should be avoided by pregnant and lactating women.

Side effects:

In rare cases and at very high doses, a skin rash may occur.

Store the product in a dry, cool environment up to 25°C (77°F), and protect from light. Improper storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity and storage in freezing conditions may cause deterioration of the product.
